Frequently Asked Questions
How long do you take to set up?
We require one hour to set up and so will arrive prompt an hour before the performance.
Do you call the dances?
All dances are called by the expert ceilidh musicians so there won’t be any excuses for your guests not to be up for every dance whether they have danced before or are complete ceilidh novices.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
A 20% deposit is required to secure your date.
Do you provide music for the first dance/(s)?
We can play your chosen song/(s) via Spotify through our sound system. We ask this information to be provided in advance.
How does the disco set work?
We have disco lighting and use spotify to play music through our sound system from a phone/laptop. We usually ask couples/clients if they would like to create their own personalised playlists so that they can ensure all their favourite songs will be played on the night (and most people go for this option!)
When is the final balance due?
The final balance is due two weeks before the performance.
What happens if a band member is ill or can’t make the performance?
In the rare event that a band member cannot make a performance, we have a pool of fantastic musicians who know our set who we use on a regular basis so the performance can always go ahead!
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes, which we renew every year.
Is your equipment PAT tested?
Yes, every year.
